The initiation of the Presidential Conditional Grant for Nano Businesses, a crucial element within the broader Presidential Palliative Program, is officially declared with satisfaction by the Nigerian Federal Government.
About the Grant Scheme
Each recipient will receive a grant of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira), and the program is designed to benefit one million nano businesses spread across the 774 local government areas.
Collaboration between the Federal Government, State Governments, Honourable Ministers, NASME (Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), Senators, and House of Representative Members will take place. These stakeholders will utilize the Federal Government’s specified selection criteria outlined below to identify and shortlist beneficiaries from their respective constituencies.
The target allocation aims for 70% to be women and youth, 10% for people with disabilities, and 5% for senior citizens. The remaining 15% will be distributed among other demographic groups.
