Anele Matoti (born March 26, 1979) is a South African actor. He is best known for playing Taps in the SABC3 drama series Shado’s.
The actor has made many appearances in over twenty television shows. He played Muzi in the E.tv drama series Shooting Stars. He also has feature film credits in No Heaven Above Africa and Life is Hard.

Anele Matoti was born on March 26, 1979, in South Africa. He is from Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape.
Education
Matoti matriculated at Queen’s College in Queenstown in 1997. After, he enrolled to further his studies at Rhodes University and City Varsity.
Career
In 2005, Anele started playing Taps in the SABC3 drama series Shado’s. He joined the cast of the E.tv drama series Shooting Stars as Muzi in 2007. He made his final appearance on the show in 2010.
More of his acting credits are playing Sandile Mafalo in S.I.E.S, Thumelo in The Kingdom, and Policeman in The Philanthropist. He also appeared in This Life, Interrogation Room, Home Affairs, Montana, and Stokvel.
Anele was among the cast in feature films like; No Heaven Above Africa and the film Life is Hard. He has appeared in stage productions like Julius Caesar, Alberts Bridge, and Medea.
Xolisa Mashigo was his role in the M-Net soccer drama series League of Glory in 2010. He played Sandile Mafalo, an incompetent consultant in the Mzansi Magic sitcom S.I.E.S.
Anele and his wife run a family-owned media business, Ohana Media. The company conceptualizes, scripts, writes and produces content to preserve the Xhosa language.
