Bucy Radebe (born Phumulani Asnath Radebe; 16 March 1987 in Maboloka) is a well-known South African singer. The sensational Gospel artist has been a channel through which many draw inspiration.
Her voice backed up with her singing talent, she has been able to reach many and hold performances on several platforms. At first, she started as a background vocalist and later went solo. Today the list of Gospel artists in the country is incomplete without mentioning Bucy.

Her date of birth is on 16 March 1987 and the place of birth is in Maboloka close to Brits in North-West. Bucy Radebe is 34 years old. She later relocated to Soshanguve north of Pretoria.

Bucy grew up under the care of a single parent, her mother’s name is Mme Esther Radebe. Her surrounding played a notable role to make her love music. Her family is a musically inclined one which made her into the person she is today. She began to sing when she was three (3).

In 1997, at the age of ten (10), she had her primary school education at Mafumbuka Primary School. At that young age, she became a part of the school choral choir.
She furthered her academic pursuit at Botse-Botse High School. Bucy’s interest in music continued to grow stronger and then she made it to the school choir.
She has also been a part of many music-related activities. Bucy was a member of the AFM (House of Praise, Mabopane) youth choir. In 2007, she joined the Kopano Chorus and in the year that followed became a member of Opera Africa.
Bucy has also appeared in many productions and also had a performance at the South African Youth Award in 2012.
In the same year, 2012, she began to work with Tebs David eventually, he connected her to other artists including Apostle Solly Mahlangu.
In 2013, she started to sing with Apostle Solly as the backup vocalist. She went to several African countries with the singer.
In the Album Realibua Jesu by Takie, his debut album, she was a background vocalist. The year 2018 saw the talented singer join the Spirit of Praise 7 choir.
The gospel singer made a bold move. She decided to step out of the shadows and record her album, and so she did. Upon recording the album in November, she released it in February in the year that followed.

The family woman is a Christian and sings gospel music, many know her as a female and youth gospel artist. She is a household name in the country and has gained much presence on social media and in reality.

The renowned gospel artist is signed to the Polokego Music (PTY) Ltd. The new record label is owned by her husband. The label has been a huge help to the artist for promoting events and she released her album Spiritual Encounter under the label.
