Biography
Hon. John Mbadi Ng’ongo is a Kenyan-born politician. He currently represents the Gwassi Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya.
Since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election, he has continued to serve his constituency. He served from 2008 to January 2013. The honorable has been active in the parliament.
From October 2012 to 2013, he served as the assistant minister, office of the prime minister.
Currently, he serves as a Suba Constituency Member of Parliament. He occupied the position after the 2013 elections.

Early Life
John Mbadi Ng’ongo was born in Seka, Lwala sub-location in Suna District. The 49-year-old has six older siblings and is the last-born child of his family.
Education
In 1979, he registered at Ligongo Primary School and obtained a Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 1986.
In 1987, he joined Kokuro Boys Secondary School and obtained the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 1990.
In 1992, he enrolled for a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) at the University of Nairobi and graduated in 1996. From 1998 to 1999, he did Self Study and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant.
After a three-year program at the University of Nairobi, Mbadi obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Career
In 2017, John became a member of Parliament Suba South Constituency at the Kenya National Assembly. He is also the Leader of the Minority Party.
In March 2013, he served as a member of parliament Suba Constituency at the Kenya National Assembly. From October 2012 to 2013, he was the Assistant Minister at the office of the Prime Minister.
In 2008, John became a Member of Parliament, Gwassi Constituency at Kenya National Assembly. He served in the capacity until January 2013.
Mbadi John was the finance director at Medair East Africa – South Sudan Programme from 2004 to 2008. In 2003, he became the Senior Accountant at the University of Nairobi.
From 1999 to 2003, he was an accountant at the University of Nairobi. He was the Assistant Accountant at Student Welfare Authority from 1996 to 1999. John is a minority leader in the National Assembly of Kenya.
