Early Life
Mapaseka Koetle was born on March 23, 1989, in Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa. Growing up, she wanted to be a medical doctor or a lawyer at some point.
As a child, her love for the doctor’s coat inspired her interest in the profession. Later as a teenager, she fell in love with acting and pursued the dream.

At thirteen, the actress started to exhibit her love for art which continued to grow. She began to appear in small productions and landing roles.
Eventually, she appeared in the production Show Off in 2012. She plays Dintle in the e.tv soap opera Scandal.
Her character is very unapologetic and tries to prevent others’ voices. Koetle played the lead role for the film production Second Chances. She also gives back to society and donates sanitary pads to needy girls in drives in Bloemfontein.
Aside from acting, Koetle is a blogger and writes out of experiences as a mother. She is also a show host and focuses on anything that has to do with being a mother. Lately, she landed a new gig as a host of a BET Show.

Nyokong has also established herself in the business world. She has personal business and joint businesses with her husband. In 2020, she and her husband launched Gorge Grab n Go Café.
The franchise restaurant is outside the Sandton Gautrain station in Johannesburg. On the launch day, prominent and celebrated personalities like Kagiso Modupe.
