Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael who is well known by the stage name Zlatan Ibile was born on the 19th of December, 1994 in Ilorin, Kwara State but has family roots in Ijurin, Ekiti State all in Nigeria. He was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Omoniyi and spent several years in Kwara State.Â
While growing up, Zlatan Ibile started to engage in freestyling in his native language, Yoruba, and gradually developed himself to become better. There isn’t much information on the schools which he attended for his basic and secondary education. But he graduated with a National Diploma in Business Administration from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in 2011.
Personal Life
Zlatan Ibile was formerly in a relationship with Seyi “Shigh Lofe” Awonuga, the youthful CEO of Bang Music. But due to an undisclosed issue, he broke up with her and decided to move on with his life.Â
Currently, Zlatan Ibile is in a relationship with his baby mama and partner, Davita Lamai, and together they have a son named Shiloh Toluwalase Ainoghena Omoniyi.
Career
Zlatan Ibile decided to chase a career in the entertainment industry after completing his diploma program. When he was aged 19, he won the Airtel-Sponsored competition tagged “One Mic Campus Tour” which was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Zlatan Ibile quickly rose to stardom after releasing the track “My Body” in 2017 which was assisted by the top and influential Nigerian artist, Olamide.
In 2018, he was signed to A.B.E. record label by Mr. Lawrence Irabor, a co-owner of the music-producing company. Zlatan Ibile gained further recognition and exposure as a result of collaborations with Chinko Ekan and Lil Kesh on the hit single “Able God” released in 2018.
After some time, he dropped “Zanku”, a song that came with a dance that significantly took over the entertainment industry at that time. Towards the end of 2018, he released a hit track titled “Osanle” which was co-assisted by popular and globally recognized Nigerian artist, Davido.
Zlatan Ibile further enjoyed features on Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem”, Ceeza Milli’s “Flenjo” and Naira Marley’s “Am I A Yahoo Boy”.
