A thousand years after the fall of Atlantis, in ancient Africa, the five remaining houses of Kemet were greatly engulfed with fears of a prophecy. The prophecy proclaimed the end of days.

Location

The show was shot in the Eastern Cape in Gauteng and North West provinces. It also cast some other talented new faces in showbiz. 

The show seeks to unveil the history of Africa since most of us know our past from Western perspectives.

Synopsis

The series draws inspiration from many elements of many African mythologies. The focus was on these tribes in season one as they tried to migrate.

These clans migrated from Kemet, now Egypt, to various locations where they established their cultures. The character Zazi is the damning prophecy’s chief harbinger.

Other notable roles include King Letsha (played by Mothusi) and the head of the Akachi army General Toka (played by Zolisa).
