Busisiwe Mtshali (born July 27, 1991), best known as Busi Mtshali, is a South African actress. She is best known for playing an intelligent high schooler, Thandeka, in the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka’s Diary.
Busi made headlines in July 2022 after she revealed that she was pregnant. She has also appeared in many other television shows like Abomama as Lumka Isidingo, Lockdown as Nkuli, and Isidingo as DJ Gugs.

Mtshali holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic arts Honours degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
Career
The 31-year -old actress has appeared in many television shows and productions. She is prominent for playing the intelligent high schooler Thandeka in the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka’s Diary.
Earlier in her acting career, Mtshali starred as a working girl, Shirley, in the crime drama series Mshika-shika. Although she has appeared in popular productions like Abomama, Shirley is her debut industrial role.
In 2014, she starred as Fikile Mathubela, a lady who is an intern at a luxury fashion label, in season two of the e.tv series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style.
Busisiwe was also the guest star on the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo playing DJ Gugs. In 2015, the actress starred in Thandeka’s Diary since season one.
