Biography
Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki (born January 1, 1956) is a Kenyan politician. He is the current Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Education. President William Ruto nominated him for office.
The seasoned civil servant and administrator was sworn in as Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Education in 2022.

Early life
Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki was born on January 1, 1956, in Nyaribari Masaba, Kenya.
Education
Machogu studied at Nduru High School. In a975, he completed his O-levels at Agoro Sare Secondary School. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.
Career
For three years, he served as a District Officer in the office of the President until 1979. He held the office of District Commissioner until 2008.
Ezekiel served as a Senior deputy secretary in the public service commission until 2016.
A year later, he represented Nyaribari Masaba Constituency at the National Assembly from 2017 to 2022.
Hon. Ombaki was the Chairperson of the National Assembly Committee on Members, Service, and Facilities. He was also a member of the Committee on Regional Integration.
In October 2022, he was sworn in as Cabinet Secretary for the Kenya Ministry of Education.
In 2002, he became the Senior Deputy Secretary in the Ministries of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands, Trade and Tourism, and the Public Service Commission.
From 2001 to 2002, he served as the Deputy Provincial Commissioner of the Coast Province. He was the District Commissioner for Wajir, Busia, and Nyandarua Districts (1989 to 2001).
From 1978 to 1989, he served as District Officer of Tetu, Nyandarua, Oljororok, Kianyaga, Nandi, Naivasha, and Kikuyu Divisions. He has made an extensive impact on Kenyan politics and humanity.
