Manqoba Mngqithi (born 25 April 1971 in KwaZulu-Natal) is a South African football coach. He is known to have managed about eight-teams since his career as a coach.
He has also gained popularity as a coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, a South African football club. He boasts of over fifteen years as a football coach.

Career
Manqoba is a popular figure in the South African world of football. He started his journey as a coach managing the football team Maritzburg City and later coached the team Moja United.
He has also coached other football teams in the country including Highlanders, and University of KwaZulu-Natal.
For three years, from 2007 until 2010, he managed the Golden arrow team after which he moved to AmaZulu.
He remained on AmaZulu for a year from 2010 until 2011. The next year, in 2012, he moved to Chippa United, the same year he secured a coaching job in Golden arrows.
He coached the team for a year from 2012-2013, he then became an assistant coach on Mamelodi Sundowns for seven years (2013-2020). In 2020, he became the coach football of at the football club.
Before his profession as a coach, Manqoba was a school teacher, but today boasts of over 15 years of experience as a coach.
Daughter
He is the father of popular South African actress and musician Asavela Mngqithi. She was born on 4 June 1996 in Durban, South Africa. Many television viewers know her as “Ntwenhle from Isibaya”.
The 24-year-old developed an interest in acting when she was a young girl. Today, she a leading South African actress and has amassed wealth from her acting career.
