Salamina Mosese (born 19 June 1983 in Zebediela; née Mphelo) is a South African actress, model, and presenter on TV. She captured many for playing the role of Keketso Chaka on Backstage.
She took over the role on the e.tv soap opera from a fellow actress Katlego Danke and appeared for a year (April 2006 – June 2007).

Salamina received a Matric Exemption with distinctions in three subjects; English, Afrikaans, and History. She furthered her academic pursuit at the University of Johannesburg (RAU). She studied for a degree in Corporate Communications.

Salamina Mphelo is married to Tshepo “Howza” Mosese, former Generations and Backstage actor. The couple exchanged their marital vows in 2008 thereby cementing their union as husband and wife.
After twelve years of marriage and a child, she and her husband are expecting a baby. The couple surprised fans when they announced via Bona Magazine cover story that they were another child.
Career
As a presenter, she landed a job on CRAZe, a kids’ program for e.tv. She worked as a presenter on the show for five years. In 1999, she was cast on Soul Buddyz. She remained on the SABC1 youth drama series for three years and left in 2002.
She emerged winner in the 2008 Top Billing presenter search. In the same year, she became the presenter of the show. Salamina also appeared in other shows on TV including Soul City and Justice for All.
She also appeared on Beat the Drum, the international feature film, and was cast as Tumi (a lead role) in The Ring, a short film. In 2007, she became the presenter of Crazy Games, a game show on SABC2.
Still, in 2017, she became a presenter of a reality show on SABC1 Top Class. In the next year, Salamina was the two (2) Nedbank gameshows, on SABC3 and e.tv.
Speaking of her modeling profession, she has done commercials for big brands including Lotto, Comporal, and McDonald’s. Salamina was the “Face of Sadie“, a roll-on brand acquired by L’Oreal in 2017.
In 2011, she landed a starring role in Abo Mzala, an SABC1 sitcom. She was cast as Ella who is a domestic worker. In 2014, she became the host of the show I Want to Sing Gospel. She joined the show for its season three replacing Thabo Mdluli.
