Zandisile Nhlapo (born December 25, 1975) popularly known as Zandi Nhlapo, is a multi-faceted South African actress, entertainer, television personality, and model.
As a teenager of 17 years, she boldly entered the industry and has experienced a rise from one level of success to another. With over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry, she is regarded as a veteran.
From appearing in many top magazines to winning many pageantry titles Zandi has built a long-term career. She is best known as the presenter of the popular South African show, Continuity.

Early Life
Zandi Nhlapo was born on December 24, 1975, in Johannesburg, a large city in South Africa. She hails from an average home and difficult upbringing. She would have a long walk to attend dance lessons as a member of the dance group The Whizz Kids.
Nhlapo experienced the Apartheid and is a source of inspiration to many upcoming and struggling South Africans. She faced her challenges and came out stronger finding her way to the top.
In the history of South Africa, she is one of the first set of blacks to host a show aired on TV.
Career
Zandi Nhlapo joined the dance group The Whizz Kids as a child. She went around with the crew to hold performances and walked for miles not to miss dance rehearsals.
At the age of 17, she made her television debut in 1993 and was part of the show TRIO on CCTV. She was also the host of many other top shows like Midday Breeze, Continuity, Cooking Gospel, Eastern Mosaic, and Man 2 Man.
Zandi is successful in the modeling business and has many achievements to her name. She was featured on the front pages of top national magazines like True Love and Y Mag.
As a beauty queen, Zandi has entered and contested many beauty pageants. She has won most of the beauty contests like Miss 707, Miss Sundowns, and Miss Orlando Pirates.
Her grandchildren inspired her to open a child-themed hair salon. Most times, the conversations held in adult hair salons are not suitable for children, being one main reason to launch a children’s hair salon.
In 2017, Zandi launched the salon and named it Mini You Mini Me, and made provisions for areas children can break boredom while they wait.

Personal Life
Zandi Nhlapo and her ex-husband Ralph Zikala were married for eight years. The duo ended their marital union in a divorce for personal reasons.
Later, she found love and got engaged to Bob Mabena. They had a child together. Sadly, Bob Mabena died of a heart attack in August 2020. When the news got to Zandi, it left her heartbroken and devastated.
Zandi walked up to Bob and Eucharist in a Pallazzo restaurant where she was dining. She accused Eucharist of stealing her man.
They both looked for a legal way to settle and filed assault and harassment charges against each other. She is a mother of three children including; Ntando Zikalala, Nyeleti Khomotso, and Masana Mabena.
Ntando Zikalala is part of Zandi’s branding company and is a mother.
