Zizi Kodwa (born 19 January 1970) is a South African politician. He currently serves as the Deputy Minister of State Security of the Republic of South Africa.
He held the position on 30 May 2019 and has been involved in many controversies and issues relating to corruption. Lately, he made headlines after reports alleged that Zizi was involved in deals relating to corruption.

Career
On May 26, 2014, he occupied the position of the spokesperson of the African National Congress (ANC). He served in the position until 2017. Zizi serves on the Board of Trustees of the SA International Marketing Council.
Zizi actively participated in the Student Representative Councils and several other “militant organizations”. He took part in the Congress of South African Students. The congress was later banned but reincarnated as the Township Student Congress.
While in the university, he occupied the position of SRC President. He was also a member of the SA Students Congress. During his days as an ANC Youth League Member, he severed in different capacities in the Western Cape branch of the league.
Eventually, he climbed to the national executive committee of the organization after he was elected to the position. He remained a member of the African National Congress (ANC) Youth League until its congress in Mangaung.
