Aphiwe Bukani is an Eastern Cape-born social entrepreneur, brand manager, and motivational speaker. He sits as the current Brand Manager of McDonald’s since November 2021.
Bukani moved to the City of Johannesburg in search of greener pastures. He has since then worked for many other brands like ANN7 News Channel, Coca-Cola, and TNA media.

Early Life
Aphiwe Bukani was born and bred in East London, a beachy part of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. He has always strived to be the best at what he can.
Though he moved to Johannesburg to further his studies, he left East London for opportunities.
Education
After completing his primary school education, he matriculated from George Randell High School. He attended the University of Johannesburg from 2009-2010.
He studied Marketing Management at the University of South Africa in 2011.
Career
During his days in High School, he was active in public speaking programs and activities. He is an experienced brand manager and has worked with many top brands and companies.
He has worked in FMCG, QSR, Telecommunications, and Media industries over the past 12 years. He is also skilled in brand management, marketing strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
He is a full-time Brand Manager at McDonald’s since November 2021. Before attaining this, he was Regional Marketing Manager (MSM) for four years.
In February 2016, he worked for Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa on a contract that ended in August 2017.
Bukani worked as a Marketing Manager for ANN7 News Channel. In November 2013, he became the Marketing Manager of TNA Media and stepped down in January 2017.
He worked as a Field Specialist for Future Cellular from June 2012 to March 2013. He started as an extra and background artist in soap operas like Isidingo, Generations, and Muvhango.
Aphiwe Bukani won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2011 under Transformation Africa.
Personal Life
Aphiwe Bukani made headlines lately for getting married to the actress Sivenathi Mabuya. The couple cemented their union in a traditional wedding ceremony.
Other celebrated personalities like Lusanda Mbane and Ayanda Daweti were present for the wedding. He told Beat Magazine SA that his religion, family, and passion for his work keep him going.
His favorite home-cooked meal is Umphokoqo. He spends time with his family during his leisure time.
