Ronnie Nyakale was born in Soweto, a township in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Career
As an actor, he has appeared in many television shows and blockbuster movies. He was a cast member of the soap opera Rhythm City.
In the Mzansi Magic miniseries Naledi, the veteran actor played Pheto. Playing Sylvester in seasons one and two of the television series A Place Call Home made him a familiar face.
The veteran actor appeared in season two of eKasi: Our Stories as Ino and in season one of In End Game as Siya Bacqua. He also appeared as Khaya Ncube in season one of Fallen.
In season one of the much-viewed soap opera Generations: The Legacy, he played the famous Cosmo. He played Ronnie in season one of the television series iNumber Number.
Ronnie Nyakale played Pheto in season one of Naledi and Ding Dong in season one of Rhythm City. He played Mizinga in season twelve of Silent Witness.
In season one of Yizo Yizo, he played Papa Action and played himself in season one of Zaziwa. He played Phule in season two of Zero Tolerance and as Vusi in Dora’s peace in 2016.
Nyakale played the customer in The Call and Captain Stone in Avenged. He was also a cast member in Durban Poison as a Black man.
The actor played Strike in the State of Violence and as a feather duster salesman on Jozi. In 2008, he appeared as Zakes Mbolelo in Gangster’s Paradise: Jerusalema.
On Blood Diamond, he played Digger and Vuyo in the 2001 television movie Transit Cave.
