Kgomotso Christopher was born on May 25, 1979. She studied at the National School of the Arts in Braamfontein. After matric, she studied Law and Politics at the University of Cape Town.
Her performance earned her a Jules Kramer Award for Fine Arts. She obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts at Columbia University in New York City in 2004.
