Nomvelo Makhanya was born on April 24, 1996, in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She had a great passion for sports and did well. But her mother, after observing her and watching her from birth, advised her to try attending NSA.
The actress listed to her mother’s voice and enrolled in the National School of the Arts in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
