Monnapule Saleng was born on March 13, 1998, in South Africa. Growing up, he fell in love with football and loved to watch some players. He idolized the Netherlands legend Arjen Robben.


Saleng is a talented footballer and plays as a midfielder at the Orlando Pirates. He moved from Free State Stars ahead of the 2021/22 season.

After becoming a Buccaneer, the winger went on loan at Swallows. He has also played for other teams like Warriors FC XI, South African National Football Team, and Orbit College FC.
